Yes — most of our guests are not vegan. We apply classical Japanese fine dining techniques like 72-hour dashi preparation, fermentation, aging, curing, and smoking to seasonal produce. Many non-vegan guests tell us they forgot they weren't eating fish. Wakamama is popular for date nights and special occasions among flexitarians and curious fine dining diners.

Our Seasonal Vegan Omakase is priced at $168 SGD per pax, and our Premium Chef Omakase is $238 SGD per pax. No GST is charged. We also host a Monthly Omakase Experience priced at $128 SGD.

What makes Wakamama different from other vegan omakase restaurants in Singapore?

Wakamama is Singapore's only fermentation-forward vegan omakase restaurant. We do not make mock meat or imitation fish. Instead, we house-ferment our own chickpea miso, shio koji, and shoyu koji, and prepare our own 72-hour plant-based dashi using Rishiri, Ma, and Rausu kombu. Our intimate 18-seat counter serves a curated seasonal menu led by Chef Joyce.
